Aiimi joins the UK Water Partnership.
As of December 2019, we’re thrilled to announce that we have joined the UK Water Partnership as an official supporter.
The UK Water Partnership (UKWP) was established in 2015 to unite the UK water sector and the organisations who work within it. Their main aims are to support new water research, encourage collaboration and innovation and promote economic growth in the water sector. For the most part, our work with the UKWP will align with their Digital Water initiative. This initiative aims to understand the opportunities for commercial success and collaboration within the water industry. As trusted technology providers and consultants to several major UK water companies, including Anglian Water and Northumbrian Water, we can’t wait to bring our expertise to this partnership.
“Water is an area where we see not just a number of opportunities to grow our business, but also an area where organisations can have a positive, tangible impact on the lives of millions of people.” Steve Salvin, CEO at Aiimi
We’ll be kicking off our work with the partnership with a contribution to their upcoming Digital Water whitepaper. The whitepaper aims to explore the commercial opportunities for UK water companies to make the most of the $30 billion digital revolution occurring in the water industry. In this piece, Peter Fleming, our Head of Strategic Consulting, shares our experience of driving the adoption of Digital Twins in the water industry. For the water industry, Digital Twins present the opportunity to better visualise new concepts and methods in water management before they are applied to real-life situations. A draft of this whitepaper and a Call to Action is out now for consultation and the final version will be released in February 2020.
As the long-term sustainability and effective resourcing of water becomes an increasingly pertinent environmental and commercial challenge, we are more and more conscious of our opportunity and responsibility to make a difference. Steve Salvin, CEO at Aiimi, is keen that, as a company, we use our expertise in the water industry and as data experts to initiate and progress solutions which will help others.
