Aiimi is a proud patron of the Institute of Asset Management.

We’re proud to announce Aiimi's new status as an official patron of the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) – the leading international professional body for asset management professionals.
Aiimi’s patronage of this professional body reflects our expertise in delivering data and digital strategies and projects to asset-related industries – utilities, automotive, manufacturing, and engineering – plus our commitment to helping asset managers operate, govern, and extract more value from their data and information.
We’re excited to be contributing towards the institute’s initiatives and hot topics, such as ethical AI and emerging research in data science, and sharing our extensive experience in areas such as Digital Twins, predictive data analytics, visualisations, and data science – all crucial elements for asset-centric industries.
Commenting on the new patronage, Andy Watts, MD at the IAM, says: “We’re delighted to see Aiimi support us as a patron. As a specialist in data and information management – an activity which is even more critical as digital technologies offer ever greater opportunities to asset management – the expertise they bring is a boost to the asset management community. Their knowledge in this area will influence the shape of asset management in the years to come.”
In support of the IAM’s aims to improve the widespread understanding of good asset management practices through guidance and thought leadership, Aiimi Chief Customer Officer Tom O’Farrell is delighted to be hosting a webinar series.
Aired on 7 June, the first session – Asset Management in the Age of AI – will look at a range of challenges facing asset management companies, and how tech can deliver solutions to unlock new insights across the asset lifecycle. On 5 July, the second session of the series will focus on how AI can unlock insights from information during the design stage of the asset management lifecycle.
Aiimi CEO Steve Salvin says : “We are delighted to be formalising our relationship with the IAM by becoming patrons. With Aiimi’s experience delivering data projects, we really understand the challenges that face digital leaders in asset-centric industries.
“We’re looking forward to working with the IAM to develop new strategic initiatives within data and AI, bringing a fresh view on emerging topics – like practical AI adoption, data science and analytics, and cognitive technologies – to the IAM community. We’re particularly excited to share how our new Insight Engine solution creates an interconnected data mesh to unlock hidden value from asset-related data and information.”
At Aiimi, we’re proud to be part of the data revolution, using our next-generation technologies to help companies take advantage of digital disruption. Our data experts are shaping data strategies for some of the best-known companies in the world, while our Aiimi Insight Engine sits at the heart of the cognitive services market, predicted to be worth more than $20bn by 2023.
Aiimi joins a growing group of digital specialists and data management solution providers engaged with the IAM globally. Current Aiimi customers who are also IAM patrons include Anglian Water Services, Rolls-Royce, and Northumbrian Water.
